Summary

We are looking for two highly motivated, enthusiastic and compassionate Staff Nurses to join our friendly and dynamic team on Ward 3 Gastroenterology at Wexham Park Hospital.

Ward 3 is a 24-bedded medical ward caring for male and female patients with a range of acute medical conditions, specialising in gastroenterology and general medicine. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your clinical knowledge and skills within a supportive and specialist environment.

You will work as part of a respected multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality, safe and compassionate care to our patients. We are committed to supporting your professional development and will provide opportunities, encouragement and guidance to help you achieve your full potential.

This role is open to newly qualified nurses graduating in September 2026

Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individual patient care with minimal supervision.

To work as part of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure that treatments are correctly carried out in accordance with given policy.

Responsible for the assessment of complex care needs of patients and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care.

Lead and monitor the performance and standards of care within the Nursing Team.

Work collaboratively with the other members of the multidisciplinary team to facilitate the development of the service
