Summary
Dorset Health Care University Trust are looking to recruit a Mandatory trainer/Clinical Educator to work to support of our Inpatient services across Dorset.
The post holder will be responsible for the development, delivery, and evaluation of a programme of mandatory training and clinically relevant practice education to support the professional development of the organisation. The appointed individual will have a specific focus on enabling the delivery of high-quality patient/person centred care that is grounded in evidence-based practice and underpinned by national, organisational and trust objectives, guidelines, and policies.
The person we are looking for will have; a strong clinical background with recent clinical experience, excellent communication skills, ability to engage and influence at all levels, demonstrate a passion for education and act as a professional role model. We will provide appropriate support and opportunities for your continued development.

This is a fixed term role and for those with current NHS service, the role will be offered on a secondment basis only. Please obtain permission to be released on a secondment before submitting an application
The overarching aim of the Mandatory trainer/ Clinical Educator is to facilitate and support the clinical, professional, and educational development of the organisation. Development of clinical training programs and supporting access to statutory mandatory training.
