Summary

Quality Engineer

Location: Margate, Kent

Hours: Monday to Friday

Salary: Competitive + Benefits

We are looking for a proactive and detail-focused

Quality Engineer to join an established engineering environment in Margate.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will support quality systems, regulatory compliance, auditing, non-conformance management and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and support quality approvals including

AS9100, AS9110 and EASA Part 145.

Support and conduct internal, supplier, customer and third-party audits.

Manage non-conformances and lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.

Drive continuous improvement across quality, compliance and efficiency.

Maintain calibration, authorisation and training systems.

Develop and maintain quality procedures, work instructions and documentation.

Support EN4179 and NDT requirements.

Deliver quality and regulatory training where required.

Work closely with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.

Identify appropriate opportunities to use AI to improve productivity and quality.

About You

Experience in a regulated

aerospace, aviation, MRO, manufacturing or engineering environment.

Knowledge of

AS9100 and/or AS9110.

Internal auditing and auditor training experience.

Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Strong problem-solving, analytical and organisational skills.

Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across teams.

Desirable: EASA Part 145, FAA, EN4179/NDT, supplier auditing or training experience.
