Summary

3 Permanent High Intensity CBT Therapist / Clinical Psychologist / Counselling Psychologist available in Camden Talking Therapies (full and part time posts considered). Further posts may also become available. 

Are you passionate about providing flexible, person centred, evidenced based psychological therapy to people struggling with a range of psychological difficulties including anxiety and depression? Do you want to continue to broaden and develop your skillset through regular high-quality individual and group supervision, a team approach to clinical decision making and ongoing CPD opportunities?

We are looking for Clinical Psychologists, Counselling Psychologists or High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapists with experience of working with adults with a range of mental health difficulties to join our lively, dedicated and supportive NHS Talking Therapies for Anxiety and Depression Services in Camden (formerly known as iCope). 

You will be part of a well-established, successful service providingboth in-person and remoteassessments and CBT interventions, often in primary care settings, as part of the range of high intensity interventions we offer (CBT, EMDR, IPT, DIT, BCT and Counselling). You will also offer (or work towards offering) supervision to junior colleagues, and advice, consultation and training to other clinical colleagues as well as having the opportunity to contribute towards shaping and developing our service in partnership with our service users.

In order to meet the needs of the Trust you may be required from time to time to work at different locations to your normal place of work. This may mean that you are required to work at any location that fall under Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey or Islington. The Trust reserves the right to require staff to work at such other places or locations as it considers reasonable and necessary on a temporary or permanent basis.

• Regular CPD workshops and skills sessions covering a range of topics

• Further training opportunities (as available) in Trauma-focused CBT, EMDR, Compassion Focused Therapy, Transdiagnostic CBT, working with long-term health conditions, Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy, Counselling for Depression, Interpersonal Psychotherapy and Couples Therapy for Depression.

Posts are subject to criminal records disclosure and involve a mix of on site and remote working, travel across the borough and one evening clinic (to 8pm) per week. *Please note that we do not offer remote only roles* Starting salary will normally be at the minimum point of the salary scale.
