Summary
Purpose of the Role
To proactively support the store management team in:
• Maximising sales and profitability by delivering exceptional customer
service in line with the customer service policy
• Maintaining high visual standards throughout the store
Key Responsibilities
Store Operations
• Deliver an enjoyable and positive shopping experience through
approachable, helpful, and knowledgeable customer service
• Build rapport with customers, develop relationships, and encourage repeat
visits
• Process deliveries accurately, following audit procedures
• Implement in-store promotions as directed
• Maintain visual merchandising standards, including window displays and
floor layout
• Ensure compliance with promotional activity and store layout guidelines
• Follow cash handling and in-store security procedures

• Help maintain a safe and healthy working environment
• Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Carry out housekeeping duties both on and off the sales floor
Communication & Reporting
• Maintain regular communication with the store management team
• Stay up to date with company policies, procedures, and updates from
Head Office
Financial & Analytical Duties
• Assist with monitoring daily footfall and conversion rates, and support
actions to improve performance
• Work towards achieving targets for Average Transaction Value (ATV) and
Items Per Basket (IPB)
Brand & Customer Engagement
• Keep up to date with product knowledge and internal systems through
ongoing training and team meetings
• Promote and assist with the in-store ordering service
• Actively promote the Bonus Club and explain its benefits in line with GDPR
guidelines
Additional Responsibilities
• Adhere to all internal policies, including the Whistleblowing Policy
• Complete all mandatory e-learning and personal development modules

• A good standard of education is required

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Essential:
• Strong communication and numeracy skills
• Flexible, reliable, and passionate about the brand
• Ability to read and write to a good standard
Desirable:
• PC literacy and familiarity with retail systems
• Background in customer service and/or sales techniques
• Experience in a retail clothing environment
• Experience working as part of a team
• Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures
• Understanding of till operations and cash handling procedures
