Summary

We are looking for 2x personal assistants for our client who is a happy and energetic 9-year-old boy with Autism, ADHD and a learning disability.

You will be supporting our client enjoy himself during the school holidays. Our client loves to be on the move constantly and has no sense of danger so applicants with a good level of fitness would be perfect. Our client also has Pica so someone who is observant would also be a good fit. Our client enjoys going out for drives in the car also so a driver would be preferred if possible.

Our client has complex needs and can often find it hard to regulate his emotions so being patient, kind and understanding would be ideal to support him in his activities. Our client is also non-verbal and can use pecs and other methods of communication to make his point. Experience with children with complex needs and autism is essential in this role. This role will be 2 to 1 support with another personal assistant.

Applicants must have a caring attitude, have a good sense of humour, be reliable with a positive and flexible approach to work.

This role requires an enhanced check through PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups).
