Summary

5 hours per week on a Saturday (flexible timings) Potential for additional hours during the school holidays.

We are seeking a Personal Assistant to support a bright and energetic 15‑year‑old boy with autism, learning disability and hypermobility as he enjoys life in the Dunfermline area. He is verbal but can struggle to pronounce some words.

Our client is a cheerful, lively boy who loves being outdoors and getting involved in activities he enjoys. He’s full of personality, great fun to spend time with, and thrives when he’s active and engaged. We’re looking for someone who’s happy to join him for swimming sessions, trips to the trampoline park, going to the cinema or bowling. He also loves simple activities including going to a supermarket or walks along the beach. He has his own mind and will tell you what he would like to do when you are supporting him!

The ideal candidate will be physically active, patient, and enthusiastic about helping him socialise and explore his local community. Building a trusting, positive relationship is key. He has no road safety awareness —so we need someone calm, safety‑aware, and able to respond with confidence.

As the role involves supporting him out and about, a driving licence is essential.
