Summary

This is a fun and fulfilling role supporting an 11-year-old boy with Autism and ADHD who loves animals, Lego, and the outdoors. He’s curious and energetic and needs a supportive adult to help him explore and stay safe.

You’ll Be Doing:

• Weekend trips to parks or wildlife centres

• Encouraging creative play and social interaction

• Ensuring safety during outings

• Answering questions and helping him process the world

He may need extra explanation and reassurance, so patience and kindness are essential.

We’re Looking For:

• Someone with a caring, engaging attitude

• A driver with access to a car

• Someone with experience supporting children (preferred)

• Someone observant, active, and understanding

PVG Membership Requirement:

Please note that under the new legal requirements effective from April 2025, all Personal Assistants must be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
