Seeking a dedicated and reliable Personal Assistant (PA) to support a cheerful
and bubbly secondary school-aged girl with autism and a learning disability.
Hours and rate of
pay
£14 per hour. (15 hours a week, after school support)
Location
Stevenage (SG1)
DBS/Checks
Confirmation of DBS check
Right to Work and references will be needed.
Training
Training will be offered to enable to complete the mandatory training required:
• Safeguarding Children
• Introduction to first aid / Paediatric first aid
• Health and Safety / Moving and handling
What you would
be doing…
Assist with getting in and out of bed or her wheelchair
Support with dressing, undressing, and personal hygiene
Help keep her room tidy and organized
Sit with her during TV time and provide companionship
Assist with physiotherapy exercises and limb movement as required
