Long-term Temporary Role
Our client is looking for an experienced
Caretaker to join their team, working on blocks of flats in and around
Middleton.
Caretaker Role Overview:
- Work in teams of two to maintain
- Carry out
- Drive the company vehicle –
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum
- Wipe down
- Empty bins and replace liners.
- Clean
- Spot clean walls and remove scuff marks.
- Check and report
- Deep clean stair treads, skirting boards, and high-touch points.
- Remove clutter, bag and dispose of rubbish, and manage
- Maintain the cleanliness of
- Carry out
- Competitive
- Work in a supportive team environment.
cleanliness and safety across multiple housing blocks.
minor maintenance and cleaning duties.
a full UK driving licence is required.
Caretaker Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning & Housekeeping:
stairs, landings, and communal areas.
handrails, banisters, and surfaces.
windows, glass surfaces, and vents.
Maintenance & Upkeep:
maintenance issues (e.g., broken lights, loose handrails).
Replace bulbs and carry out minor fixes.
bulky waste.
Outdoor Cleaning & General Duties:
shared outdoor spaces.
Litter picking, jet washing, and general upkeep.
other ad hoc duties as required.
What We Offer:
Ongoing, long-term temporary caretaker position with potential for a
permanent role.
£13.26 per hour pay rate.
