Summary

We are currently recruiting for a Workshop Controller / Warranty Administrator on behalf of our client, a reputable main dealership located in Dunstable, Bedfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to join a growing automotive business and further develop their career within a well-established team.

Workshop Controller Vacancy Key Benefits:

- Basic salary of £34,000 with potential earnings of up to £40,000 OTE

Workshop Controller duties:

- Allocate work to technicians based on skills, workload, and deadlines

- Lead and support a team of technicians, ensuring productive workshop operations

- Monitor workshop efficiency and ensure timely completion of repairs

- Check job cards and technician work for accuracy and completeness

- Cost additional work, support upselling initiatives, and ensure customer satisfaction

- Conduct vehicle health checks and liaise with Service Advisors to keep customers informed

- Process and submit warranty claims accurately and efficiently

- Manage warranty payments, credit notes, and warranty schedules to ensure compliance and cash flow

Workshop Controller / Warranty Administrator requirements:

- Proven experience as a Workshop Controller, Workshop Foreman, or similar role

- Supervisory experience managing technicians in a fast-paced environment

- Strong knowledge of vehicle repair processes and workshop procedures

- Previous warranty administration experience is desirable

- Excellent organisational, communication, and IT skills

- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively

- Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
