This role supports the movement and delivery of fabricated steel-related goods, with a practical focus on safe driving, dependable service and the careful handling of items during transport.About The Role:As a Car/Van Driver, your responsibilities will include:• Driving a car or van safely and responsibly• Completing multi-drop deliveries, including routes with more than 10 drops• Undertaking longer-distance journeys when required• Loading, unloading and handballing goods safely• Checking that items are secure before setting off• Planning and following delivery routes• Completing basic delivery records and paperwork• Representing the business professionally when making deliveriesAbout You:You should have:• Experience with multi-drop deliveries• Confidence handling routes involving more than 10 delivery points• Experience with long-distance driving• The physical ability to load and unload goods by hand• A careful, dependable and safety-conscious approach• Good time management and communication skills• A current driving licence appropriate for the vehicle usedBenefits:• £13 per hour• Permanent daytime work• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to be visible to local employersIf you are an experienced driver who is comfortable with handballing, multi-drop work and longer-distance routes, this could be a suitable opportunity.
