Summary

CIS have a fantastic opportunity for a Traffic Marshal who will be responsible for supporting the Management Team in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of our security logistics operations. The primary focus of the team is to safeguard and facilitate the secure transport of goods, manage inventory with precision, and collaborate across departments to maintain a streamlined and effective workflow that meets the specific needs of the site.Information:Position: Traffic MarshalLocation: Central London (EC2N)Rate of Pay: £15.52 per hourHours: 60 hours per weekShifts: Monday to Friday - 0700 to 1900 Job Requirements:2 years’ experience in logistics, security, or a related fieldExperience as a Banksman/Traffic Marshal is preferredBanksman Licence (preferred)Strong organizational and time-management skillsWillingness to learn and work collaboratively with a teamExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalHigh levels of customer service at all timesReliable, responsible, and punctualSmart appearance befitting the companyComputer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and ExcelAbility to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situationsQualifications in logistics or supply chain management are desirableHigh level of fitness for a hands-on role where you will be on your feetSecurity qualifications such as CCTV and Fire Warden are desirableBe confident you can undertake 100% of all specific dutiesBe able to provide all the documentation and vetting information?requestedJob Duties & Responsibilities:Maintain and update logistics and security documentation in line with company requirementsDirect the movement of vehicles and equipment safely on siteManage traffic flow to avoid excessive queuingProvide clear, accurate and safe directions to delivery driversCommunicate with drivers and plant operators using verbal instructions, radios and industry-standard hand signalsPresent a professional and positive image of the company to all visitors, offering assistance where requiredAssist with deliveries, collections, X-ray machine operations and DMSLiaise with site staff to coordinate daily delivery and dispatch schedulesCarry out Loading Bay Hut dutiesConduct vehicle searchesEnsure a satisfactory logistics and security presence is always maintained on site as required by the company representativesDeliver the highest standards of customer care when dealing with couriers, contractors, staff, and visitorsBuild and maintain relationships with stakeholdersMake informed decisions under pressureLiaise with external authorities and services as requiredEnsure the Daily Occurrence Book is maintained correctly and all relevant reports are completedMonitor and manage inventory levels to ensure stored items are maintained and recorded accuratelyMaintain all logistics and security equipment and assets onsite, ensuring items are signed out and in correctlyBe responsible for all staff under direct supervision, ensuring they wear the appropriate personal protective equipment, and are regularly briefedRespond accordingly to emergencies and incidents, providing necessary support and assistance to the Head of Logistics and the clientConfidently write incident and shift reportsCarry out any reasonable requests made by managementBe flexible in the approach to daily dutiesBenefits:Health care plan (HSF)Perk Box (HSF) - discounts & offers from cinema tickets to days outCycle to work schemeTailored Site UniformFirst class training allowing you to develop your skillsA view for career developmentLong service & Employee Recognition awardsAnd much more!!A globally recognised Security Solutions Specialist delivering service excellence, to our Customers, Colleagues, and Communities.
