Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour
We are currently recruiting for
two Polishing / Preparation Operatives to join a busy manufacturing environment in Oldbury. This is a hands-on role working with carbon fibre and ABS painted parts, requiring a good eye for detail and a high standard of workmanship.
We are looking for candidates with experience in
both polishing and preparation processes, although candidates with strong experience in either area may also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
• Polishing carbon fibre and ABS painted components
• Preparing parts ready for finishing and coating
• Carrying out sanding, preparation and polishing to a high standard
• Inspecting finished parts for imperfections and ensuring quality standards are met
• Working with a variety of materials and components
• Following production specifications and instructions
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Ensuring attention to detail is maintained throughout the process
• Working efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines
What We're Looking For
• Previous experience in polishing, preparation or a similar manufacturing environment
• Experience working with
carbon fibre and/or ABS painted parts is advantageous
• Ideally, candidates will have an understanding of both polishing and preparation processes
• Excellent attention to detail
• High standards of workmanship and quality
• Good hand skills and a practical approach to work
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
