We're looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer - Gas Engineer Bias to join our Hard Services team at HSE Buxton, delivering planned and reactive maintenance across a busy and varied site while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of gas and mechanical systems.
Role Responsibilities
-Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across mechanical, electrical and fabric services.
-Undertake fault finding, diagnosis and repair of gas and mechanical systems to ensure continuous service delivery.
-Respond to breakdowns and support the on-call function when required.
-Complete statutory inspections, compliance checks and maintenance activities in line with contractual requirements.
-Carry out plumbing and gas-related tasks, including repairs to toilets, showers, sinks and associated systems, while maintaining high health and safety standards.
Required QualificationsApplicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role:
-Hold Gas/Plumbing trade qualifications or certifications.
-Industry exposure within Science or Research Centres.
-Strong knowledge of statutory compliance requirements relating to gas and building services maintenance.
-Full UK Driving Licence.

-Good IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office applications and CAFM systems.
