Summary

Connect Appointments is recruiting Production and Hygiene Operatives to join an established food production business based in Inverkeithing.

Our client operates a busy food production facility, offering a Monday to Friday working week with full training and immediate starts available.

What's on offer?

  • Temporary position moving to permanent after 12 weeks

  • Monday to Friday, 1:30pm to 9:30pm

  • £13.45 per hour - paid weekly

  • Full training provided

Please note: This role involves working in cold temperatures, heavy lifting and occasional production duties alongside hygiene work.

As a Production and Hygiene Operative, your duties will include:

  • Cleaning factory floors, walls, work surfaces and production machinery to set hygiene standards

  • Safely operating cleaning tools, equipment and chemicals

  • Moving machinery and equipment to facilitate thorough cleaning

  • Maintaining hygiene standards in line with company procedures and food safety requirements

To be considered as a Production and Hygiene Operative, you will need:

  • Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment

  • The ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately

  • Good physical fitness due to the manual handling requirements of the role

  • A reliable, team-focused approach to work
