Shifts: Wednesday to Saturday
We are currently recruiting for
Stockinette machinest to join a busy team in Bacup.
The Role
This is a hands-on role involving
repetitive work and manual handling, working with foam and fibre to produce and stuff pillows.
Duties include:
- Stuffing pillows with foam and fibre
- Manual handling of materials
- Repetitive production tasks
- Working as part of a busy production team
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area
Essential skills:
- Experience operating industrial machinery, ideally knitting or stockinette machinery
- Strong mechanical and practical aptitude
- Good fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Understanding of quality control and production standards
- Commitment to health and safety
- Ability to follow technical and production instructions
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Reliable and consistent approach to work
Shift Pattern
Wednesday: 10:00am - 8:00pm
Thursday: 6:00am - 6:30pm
Friday: 6:00am - 6:30pm
Saturday: 6:00am - 11:30am
Pay: £12.71 per hour
This role would suit someone who is
reliable, physically fit, comfortable with repetitive tasks and happy working with foam and fibre materials.
