We are looking for a compassionate and reliable female PA carer to support two non-mobile and non-verbal boys in Salford.

This role involves providing hands-on care and support to two non-mobile and non-verbal boys, including feeding, personal hygiene, dressing, and safe wheelchair transfers, while ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety. You will follow daily routines, respond attentively to their needs, and communicate with patience and understanding. The position may also include accompanying them on community outings. A caring, reliable, and compassionate approach is essential, with a genuine commitment to making a positive difference.

Roles and Responsibilities

Providing attentive personal care and supervision

Feeding (meals will be prepared)

Changing nappies and assisting with personal hygiene

Supporting with dressing and daily routines

Safely moving and handling (including wheelchair transfers)

Accompanying the boys on outings in the community when required

How will the hours be used: The Personal Assistant (PA) will be required to provide cover and step in to support the role as needed, particularly in instances where the main PA is unavailable. This position is offered on a zero-hours contract, with working hours arranged based on availability and care needs.
