Part-time Personal Assistant

A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I am a 15-year-old boy living in the Penrhys area with my family and 4 cats. I am quite a character, and I am always on the move. I rarely sit down and I am normally bouncing about. I am a bundle of energy with a good personality.

I like cars, going to the cinema, going bowling and playing mini golf.

I have a diagnosis of ASD and ADHD.

PURPOSE OF JOB

I am looking for a PA to take me out into the community and to help me to take part in social activities.

HOURS OF WORK

I have 6 hours per week available. I am flexible on the days, but it would have to be after school during the week.

RATES OF PAY

£14 per hour plus 40p per mile.

TASKS INVOLVED

Taking me out into the community.

Supporting me to take part in social activities.

Ensuring my safety at all times while out.

Thinking of new activities for us to do.

Potentially supporting me at home when we cannot go out.

Helping me to be as independent as possible.

TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED

ABOUT THE JOB

Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid monthly and appropriate holiday pay given.

The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority).

The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK
