Summary
Masstemps is currently recruiting for an experienced
Electrical Assembler to join a well-established and busy manufacturing company based near the
Birmingham area.
THE ROLE
• Assemble electrical and electro-mechanical components and assemblies to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Carry out soldering, crimping and cable looming, ensuring wiring and connections are completed accurately.
• Build and wire electrical harnesses, looms and sub-assemblies.
• Cut, strip, terminate and label cables to the required specifications.
• Use hand tools and electrical assembly equipment safely and effectively.
• Carry out basic testing and inspection of completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.
• Read and interpret basic electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and assembly instructions.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working area.
ABOUT YOU
• Previous experience in electrical assembly or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Experience with soldering, crimping, cable assembly and wiring/looming is essential.
• Able to read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and technical instructions.
• Good attention to detail with a methodical approach to assembly work.
• Comfortable using hand tools and working with small electrical components.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Previous experience within an engineering, electrical or manufacturing environment would be advantageous.

Monday – Thursday
07:30am – 16:30pm
Friday
07:30am – 12:30pm
PAY RATE
£12.71ph - £13.25ph
