Summary
Masstemps is currently recruiting for an experienced
Management Assistant / Administrator to join a well-established and busy manufacturing company based near the
Duddleston area.
THE ROLE
• Carry out accurate data entry and administration, maintaining up-to-date customer, supplier and employee records.
• Use SAGE to process purchase and sales invoices, update records and support day-to-day financial administration.
• Maintain spreadsheets and databases using Microsoft Excel, ensuring information is accurate and easily accessible.
• Process orders, invoices, delivery notes and other documentation, ensuring records are kept accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with stock control and purchasing, including ordering office supplies, stationery and other business requirements.
• Communicate with customers and suppliers via telephone and email, handling queries and providing updates where required.
• Support management with general administrative tasks, including preparing reports, updating records, filing and document control.
• Assist with expense claims, checking receipts, mileage and supporting documentation for accuracy.
• Provide administrative support across different departments, including appointment scheduling, mail distribution, photocopying and general office duties.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling company, customer and employee information.
• Provide a professional and friendly first point of contact for customers, suppliers and visitors.
• Assist with general accounts administration, including invoice processing, data checking and reconciliation support.
ABOUT YOU
• Previous experience working as a Management Assistant, Administrator, Office Administrator or similar.
• SAGE experience is essential, ideally with experience processing invoices and maintaining financial records.
• Strong data entry and Microsoft Excel skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks.
• Confident communicating with customers, suppliers and colleagues by telephone and email.
• Previous experience within a manufacturing, engineering or commercial office environment would be advantageous.
• Ability to work independently while providing effective support to management and other departments.
• Professional, reliable and well organised with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Experience handling confidential information and maintaining accurate records.
Hours of Work
Part time – 3 or 4 days a week (based on your requirement) Monday - Friday
09:00am – 17:00pm
Rate of Pay
£13.50 - £16.00ph
