Summary

Our client, a leading commercial vehicle specialist with an excellent reputation across the UK, is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join their team in Penrith. - Working hours: Monday to Friday (42.5 hours), with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings

Duties:

- Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on vans, light commercial vehicles, and cars

- Apply technical knowledge to diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical issues

- Adhere strictly to manufacturer guidelines and health and safety regulations

- Ensure vehicles are completed and returned to customers promptly

- Deliver exceptional customer service and support

- Maintain accurate documentation of all work carried out

- Keep tools and workspace organised and compliant with safety standards

Requirements for the Vehicle Technician position:

- Successful completion of NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance or City and Guilds equivalent

- Full UK driving licence

- Own set of tools

- MOT License is desirable but not essential

- Ability to work to a high standard and follow safety protocols

- Strong team player with a keen desire to develop skills and knowledge

- Good understanding of health and safety compliance
