TeacherActive is delighted to partner with a large, diverse secondary school in the heart of RCT to appoint a committed Humanities Teacher. This welcoming school upholds high standards for teaching and learning and is dedicated to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment where all students are encouraged to reach their full potential.

The school is looking to appoint a Humanities Teacher on a long-term basis from June. The successful candidate will teach Humanities across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with opportunities to support GCSE and A-Level students. This role requires strong subject knowledge, exceptional classroom management skills, and the ability to engage learners of varying abilities effectively.

The successful Humanities Teacher will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Humanities

Experience teaching Humanities up to Key Stage 4, with Key Stage 5 experience preferred

Excellent classroom management skills

A passion for delivering engaging, inspiring Humanities lessons

The ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues

A proactive, adaptable approach to teaching and professional development
