We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Administrator to join our team, based in Corpach, Fort William, to assist the HR team to support all areas of the business.We offer flexible working arrangements. Main responsibilities will include:
- Recruitment – assisting with assessing recruitment needs, drafting adverts for approval before publication, creating and updating job descriptions, administration of applications, interview preparation and attendance. Ensuring recruitment trackers are maintained and accurate
- Liaising with the marketing department to ensure that all advertising is carried out in line with company procedures and protocols, ensure that the business image is maintained at all times.
- Supporting the HR Assistant to ensure that all pre-employment checks are completed along with making arrangements for employee inductions and assisting with these as required
- Logging of weekly paperwork, including but not limited to memos, safety alerts, overweight loads and internal monitoring systems.
- Ensuring employee files are maintained neatly and kept in order
- Assisting with the administration of probation and annual appraisal reviews.
- Providing administrative assistance within the HR department and other areas of the business as required
- Updating and maintaining internal HR databases/systems, including auditing when required
- General administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, shredding, collating documents, issuing memos and liaising with internal departments for outstanding paperwork when required.
The successful candidate should have:
- Previous experience within an administrative role (desirable, full training will be provided)
- Excellent telephone manner
- Good written and verbal communication skills, ensuring attention to detail and accuracy
- Organisational skills with the ability to work within a time sensitive environment
- Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
- A valid driving licence – preferable but not essential
