Summary

We're looking for a HSW Advisor to join our Workplace Solutions team based in South and South East England.

Location: South and South East EnglandHours: 40 per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Join Kier Places, our dynamic projects and maintenance business, as a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor. You'll become an integral member of our contract and project teams, supporting them from conception to delivery whilst ensuring we maintain the highest standards of safety across our operations. This role covers our PFI Contracts in the South East and Southern Coastal areas of England, where you'll work collaboratively to ensure safety remains at the heart of every business decision.

What will you be responsible for?

As a HSW Advisor, you'll be working within the HSW Team, supporting them in maintaining our excellent safety culture and ensuring compliance with our Integrated Management System. Your day to day will include:

-Providing expert advice on health, safety and wellbeing procedures, coaching teams and supporting continuous improvement across the business

-Carrying out scheduled inspections and advisory visits, promoting best practice in line with our risk-based approach

-Leading investigations using Kelvin TOPSET, compiling comprehensive reports and providing recommendations to prevent future incidents

-Delivering internal training on HSW systems and risk management, promoting our Think Safety Differently programme

-Building effective relationships with leadership, management teams and client stakeholders to support collaborative service delivery

What are we looking for?

This role of HSW Advisor is great for you if:

-You hold an IOSH recognised level 5+ Health and Safety qualification and membership of a professional body (minimum Tech IOSH)

-You have demonstrable experience within construction or facilities management industries with expert knowledge of relevant legislation

-You possess excellent communication skills, able to present and train at all levels of the organisation

-You hold a Full driving licence and are willing to work flexibly, including occasional nights away

-You have working knowledge of ISO 45001 and can obtain UK Security Clearance and Enhanced DBS
