A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a

Manufacturing Operations Leader to join a world-class aerospace manufacturing business at its Devon based facility.

Working within a highly innovative aerospace environment, you will lead production teams, drive operational excellence, and champion continuous improvement initiatives to deliver outstanding safety, quality, delivery, and productivity performance.

Role & Responsibilities:

Lead manufacturing and production activities within a defined production area.

Manage, coach, and develop production teams to achieve operational targets.

Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Deliver key KPIs including Safety, Quality, On-Time Delivery, First Pass Yield, and Productivity.

Champion High Performance Work Teams and employee engagement.

Support maintenance and facilities activities to maximise plant performance.

Lead culture change and promote a strong health & safety mindset.

Provide strategic direction, resource planning, and operational leadership.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Degree qualified or equivalent.

3+ years' experience in Manufacturing or Operations.

Previous leadership or supervisory experience.

Strong Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement knowledge.

Experience with Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Visual Management, and 6S.

Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills.

Strong problem-solving skills using methodologies such as 8D or A3.

Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
