Summary

Location: Sellafield, SeascaleHours: 38 hours per weekShift Pattern: 9-Day Fortnight

-Week 1: Monday to Friday, 7:15am to 4:15pm (3:15pm finish on Friday)

-Week 2: Monday to Thursday, 7:15am to 4:15pm

Salary: £46,337.20 + bonus + travel allowance (in line with the NAECI Agreement)

We're looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our team delivering hard services maintenance on the Sellafield site. You'll play a key role in maintaining critical electrical systems within one of the UK's most highly regulated environments, helping to ensure safety, compliance and operational reliability.

Role Responsibilities

-Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a range of building services systems.

-Complete inspections, testing and certification, including EICRs, in line with BS 7671 and site compliance requirements.

-Support electrical projects and system upgrades, providing technical expertise and assisting with safe implementation.

-Review risk assessments, method statements and permit-to-work documentation to ensure work is completed safely.

-Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality and asset performance.

Required QualificationsApplicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role:

-NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, Electrical Maintenance or equivalent qualification.

-18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

-Full UK Driving Licence.

What We're Looking For

-Experience working within a commercial, industrial or highly regulated maintenance environment.

-Strong understanding of electrical compliance, fault finding and testing procedures.

-Ability to work safely and effectively within strict site procedures and permit systems.

-A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.

-City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification would be advantageous.
