Warehouse Operatives / Order Pickers to join a well-established distribution operation based in

Lenton, Nottingham.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team, working in a clean warehouse environment with ongoing work, full training provided and genuine long-term prospects.

What's on Offer for a Warehouse Operative / Order Picker?

  • £12.95 per hour

  • Overtime available

    • After 38 hours:

      • £19.43 per hour

  • Monday to Friday working pattern

  • Rotating shifts:

    • 06:00 - 14:00

    • 14:00 - 22:00

  • Ongoing

Duties of a Warehouse Operative / Order Picker:

As a Warehouse Operative, your responsibilities will include:

  • Picking customer orders accurately

  • Using handheld scanners to locate and process stock

  • Packing orders ready for dispatch

  • Quality checking products prior to shipment

  • Working to productivity and accuracy targets

  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

  • Following company processes and health & safety procedures at all times

What We're Looking For from Warehouse Operative / Order Picker:

We would love to hear from candidates who have:

  • Previous warehouse, picking or packing experience (preferred but not essential)

  • Good attention to detail

  • A positive and reliable attitude

  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Good numerical and communication skills

  • The ability to lift, move and handle products safely

  • A willingness to learn and follow procedures

Important Information for a Warehouse Operative / Order Picker

Due to the nature of the products handled within this warehouse, successful applicants will be required to undergo:

  • A DBS check

  • Referencing
