Location: LS10 , Leeds

Pay: £14.50 p/h

Shifts: 08:00- 14:00 on weekdays and 10:00-22:00 on weekends

About the Role

Sugarman Health and Wellbeing is seeking a Female Care Assistant to support a female service user with Williams Syndrome and complex healthcare needs in her own home and within the community. Full clinical training and competency sign-off will be provided.

The service user is a friendly, sociable young lady who enjoys shopping, cinema visits, make-up, sensory activities, using her iPad and spending time with her family and pets

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing person-centred care and emotional support.

Supporting community access, social activities and appointments.

Assisting with daily living tasks and promoting independence.

Supporting and monitoring specialist clinical interventions following training.

Supporting with Parenteral Nutrition (PN/TPN) routines and associated care plans.

Assisting with gastrostomy, jejunostomy, ileostomy and urostomy care following competency sign-off.

Monitoring for signs of illness, infection or changes in health and escalating concerns appropriately.

Following detailed care plans, risk assessments and clinical guidance.

Maintaining accurate records and effective communication with the wider care team

Who We're Looking For

Minimum 6 months' care experience
