• Monitor and supervise subcontractors and site operatives, including groundworkers, steel erection teams, and other specialist trades.
• Produce and maintain accurate site records, including survey information, quality records, and as-built documentation.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and industry standards.
• Promote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance across all site activities.
• Provide engineering support during project mobilisation and early-stage site setup.
• Assist the Site Manager in the day-to-day delivery of projects and provide management cover during periods of absence or annual leave.
• Support project planning and problem-solving to ensure work is delivered efficiently and safely.
• Coach, mentor, and develop trainee and junior Site Engineers, sharing technical knowledge and best practice.

• Proven ability to supervise site operations and coordinate multiple trades.
• Competent in the use of modern surveying instruments and site engineering software.
• Excellent understanding of construction health and safety requirements and industry best practice.
• Ability to work independently, make informed decisions, and resolve technical issues on site.
• Experience producing accurate site records and as-built information.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and support junior team members.
• Capable of stepping into a project leadership role for short periods when required.
