We’re recruiting enthusiastic and caring Agency Nursery Assistants to support lovely nurseries in and around Newbury!

Whether you’re looking for full-time hours, part-time shifts, or work that fits around studies or family life, agency work gives you the flexibility to choose when and where you work — while doing something rewarding every day.

No two days are the same! From messy play and story time to outdoor adventures and helping little ones learn and grow, you’ll be part of fun, supportive nursery environments where your help really makes a difference.

What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting children aged 0–5 in nurseries and early years settings

Helping with fun daily activities, play sessions, and learning experiences

Creating a safe, caring, and positive environment

Supporting children’s routines, including mealtimes and playtime

Working alongside nursery staff to ensure high-quality childcare

Encouraging children’s confidence, creativity, and development

What We’re Looking For

Experience working with children or in a nursery setting

Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is helpful but not essential

A positive, friendly, and reliable attitude

Someone adaptable and confident working in different nursery settings

Passion for childcare and supporting young children

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain)
