Summary
A severely disabled male wheelchair user, who lives in Knighton, Leicester LE2, is looking to appoint a male PA with good spoken English who can work flexibly, for up to 20 hours per week. This will include some fixed mornings 08.00-12.00 and fixed evenings 20.30-22.00, plus some flexible hours.
This role does not offer sponsorship.
The PA will assist in all areas of personal and domestic needs as required, and act as an escort and aid to the employer’s social and day to day activities. A driving licence is essential.
Duties (As required, instructed or directed by employer)
Assist with personal care support, including showering, bathing, toileting etc
Assist employer to go to and get up from bed.
Assist with dressing.
Assist with transfers to and from wheelchair.
Assist employer with General household duties including -
vacuuming/ mop/ empty bins/ make and change bed
Assist with eating and washing up
Assistance with shopping and associated tasks.
Driving to other business & social meetings/events
To provide assistance at the right time, enabling the employer to lead an independent/individual life in their own home within the community.
Pay rate: £17.37
