Post Title: Staff Nurse (Schools)

Location: Inverness

Hours: 21.6 hours per week

Duration: Permanent

Salary: £20,696 - £25,786 p.a. (£34,494 - £42,977 pro rata)

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose:

Working as part of the School Nursing Service to support the delivery of the universal child health programme for school‑

aged children and young people (5–19 years) within school and community settings. This includes contributing to health promotion, supporting early identification of health and wellbeing needs, and delivering interventions in line with the School Nursing pathways.

Working alongside the School Nurse and in partnership with education staff in their roles as Named Persons, contributing to the Child’s Plan through health assessment, information sharing, and application of the National Practice Model to support children and young people with identified health needs.
