What is required from you?
- A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
- Qualified to at least NVQ Level 2, and achieved or working towards NVQ level 3 (or equivalent)
- Good demonstrable knowledge and experience of dementia
- Excellent communication skills and a real ability to show
- Senior Care Assistant at 42 hours per week to work from 8am to 8pm to include alternative weekends
At least two years' experience working in a social care environment - preferably with vulnerable people over 65

A day in the life of a Senior Care Assistant
- Review - You will contribute to and carry out care reviews with your residents to ensure their plans reflect their needs.
- Medication - You will administer residents' medication in a safe and
Person-centred care - You will ensure that residents receive personal care from you and your team including bathing, dressing and oral care within their preferences, and
actively promote right to choice and independence
supportive and compliant way
Social Activity - You will
lead in and participate in trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
Leadership - you may
support new starters or existing staff with shadowing and development, and may be called up on to
lead the home where more senior managers are not available.
