An established Housing Association in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Housing Officer to join their team on a temporary basis.This is an excellent opportunity for a housing professional with a strong background in tenancy management and delivering high-quality customer service within a social housing environment.
Your new role
- Managing a designated housing management patch
- Dealing with tenancy and estate management issues
- Supporting tenants through tenancy sustainment activities
- Investigating and resolving anti-social behaviour cases
- Conducting property visits, inspections and home checks
- Managing rent arrears and supporting income maximisation activities
- Liaising with internal departments and external agencies to deliver effective housing services
- Maintaining accurate tenancy records and case notes
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience working as a Housing Officer or in a similar social housing role
- Strong knowledge of housing legislation and best practice
- Experience managing tenancy and estate management cases
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage a busy and varied workload
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable
