HR Advisor (Fixed Term Contract)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and commercially minded HR Advisor to join our client's team in central Northampton (NN1) on a Fixed Term Contract for 3 to 6 months.This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional looking for flexible, part-time working arrangements (3 to 4 days per week) to provide robust, day-to-day operational HR support across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Provide pragmatic, first-line advice and guidance to managers on absence management, disciplinary, grievance, and performance matters in line with UK employment law and company policy.

Support recruitment processes, onboarding, probation reviews, and offboarding procedures.

Ensure accurate maintenance of HR records, personnel files, and HR systems, producing employment contracts and related correspondence.

Assist the HR Manager with reviewing and updating company policies, procedures, and handbook documentation.

Candidate Requirements

Experience: Proven experience working as an HR Advisor, HR Generalist, or Senior HR Administrator (CIPD Level 3 or 5 qualified, or equivalent by experience).

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

Availability: Immediately available or available on short notice to commit to a 3-6 month FTC working 3 to 4 days per week
