Hays Education are working with primary schools across Coventry who are looking to welcome Early Career Teachers for the new academic year. Your new role

Supply teaching can be a great way to start your career. It gives you the opportunity to experience different schools, year groups and leadership teams while building your classroom practice and confidence.

Whether you're looking for day-to-day work, a short-term placement or something longer-term, we can help find opportunities that fit your goals. Many of our ECTs use supply as a way to gain experience before securing a permanent role, while others are matched directly with schools looking to support teachers through their ECT induction.

This is an excellent opportunity to broaden your experience, strengthen your CV and develop your teaching skills in a variety of settings.

What you'll need to succeed

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or expected QTS before September

Recent teaching experience gained through placements

A passion for primary education

Strong communication and organisational skills

A flexible and positive approach

The ability to build relationships quickly with pupils and staff

A genuine desire to learn and develop as a teacher
