Summary

We are looking for a Children's Senior Social Worker to join an Assessment and Intervention Team.

Do not apply for this role if you do not have a Social Work qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience in permanent position/s.

About the team

The team is responsible for completing S17, S47 and pre-birth assessments to provide short term intervention for children and families to avoid further escalation to child protection services. Being able to make effective decisions based on face to face visits is key to ensure the best outcomes for each child. This team works in a fast paced environment and prioritise restorative practice with each and every case they deal with.

About you

You will be an enthusiastic and committed Social Worker with substantial knowledge and experience in a children's frontline setting. Ability to work in a fast paced environment is key to the success of this role. It is also essential to have a degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) and minimum three years post qualified experience. You must have a valid UK driving licence and vehicle
