Summary

Bank Domestic Assistant at Hillside Lodge

Salary: £13.45 per hour

Hours: Bank - Zero hours

Shift Times: As/when needed in the service, shifts between 8am-5pm

Shaw healthcare is looking for a Bank Domestic Assistant who is ready to make a positive impact at Hillside Lodge, a modern purpose designed 60 bed care home situated in the beautiful West Sussex village of Pulborough. Hillside Lodge offers a range of services to support residents' physical, emotional, and social needs, including 24-hour nursing care.

Job Responsibilities

This is an excellent opportunity to join our dementia and residential home as part of our busy domestic team. You will work as part of a great team to help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our residents. This includes, but not limited to:

• Clean and sanitize rooms including furnishings in assigned work areas

• The ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness of the service and Laundry causing minimal disruption to our services users and their care

• Be able to communicate and engage effectively with our service users, their families and colleagues, good interpersonal and working relationship skills are essential

• Will need to demonstrate the ability to work without direct supervision

• You will use a variety of cleaning products paying particular attention to COSHH regulated products

• You will have the ability to work on your own initiative and be able to maintain high level of hygiene within the home
