Summary

We're looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our Yorkshire team based in Leeds.

Location: Leeds, YorkshireHours: 40 per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

Join our collaborative team where you'll play a vital role in the commercial management of projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your quantity surveying skills whilst working alongside experienced professionals. You'll be supporting the delivery of projects across Yorkshire, helping to manage costs and risks whilst ensuring quality standards are met.

What will you be responsible for?

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Yorkshire team, supporting them in delivering successful project outcomes. Your day to day will include:

-Assisting in the commercial management of projects, managing and mitigating cost and risk

-Undertaking site measurements and preparing information for payment applications

-Reviewing sub-contractor payment applications

-Supporting the project commercial lead in accurately assessing and reporting on project financial positions

-Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to assess financial viability and produce commercial reports

What are we looking for?

This role of Assistant Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:

-You have a degree level or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying

-You have post-graduate practical quantity surveying experience within a main contracting organisation

-You have knowledge of NEC / JCT Contracts

-You're confident in dealing with client representatives, sub-contractors and internal stakeholders

-You hold a Full driving licence
