About the Job
You will be part of the Application Management Team within the Regulatory Affairs Section. You will be responsible for the overall management and co-ordination of various application procedures that are subject to published standards (targets). As the primary contact for providing procedural advice to stakeholders, both internal and external, you will be required to have (or to obtain) an in-depth knowledge of application guidelines, procedures, and processes, including the underlying legislation that underpins it all.
This is a busy role that requires you to problem solve, prioritise, and think on your feet. You will need to organise yourself and the work of your team to ensure continued delivery of business priorities.
Main duties and responsibilities of the role are:
Management of a team of EOs and AOs responsible for processing application procedures to tight deadlines.
Independent troubleshooting of issues and quick decision making to ensure the smooth progression of application procedures.
Leading projects to co-ordinate process changes/review.
Developing and delivering training to colleagues/stakeholders to raise awareness.
Validation of applications, which require data analysis and the review of complex regulatory requirements.
Dealing with complex email queries from internal and external stakeholders, in accordance with VMD Customer Service Standards.
Generation of reports and analysis of data from bespoke IT systems and providing technical/expert advice to support senior managers with policy development work.
Complying with ISO 9001 (quality management) and ISO 27001 (information security) standards and GDPR and record management requirements
