Team Leader to join our

Quarriers Village Supported Living Initiative (QVSLI) Phase 1 service. This is an exciting opportunity to build your leadership career while supporting adults with learning disabilities to live fulfilling, independent lives within a vibrant and supportive community.

About the Role

As a

Team Leader, you will work closely with the Project Manager & Deputy to support the delivery and development of high-quality services. You will provide day-to-day leadership to Support Workers, helping to create a positive and inclusive environment where both colleagues and the people we support can thrive.

Full Time ¦ Permanent ¦ 39 Hours Per Week - working 5 days over 7

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, motivating and supporting a team of Support Workers.
  • Providing supervision, guidance and mentoring to colleagues.
  • Supporting the development of person-centred support plans and risk assessments.
  • Building positive relationships with families, health and social care professionals, and other key stakeholders.
  • Assisting with service planning, quality assurance and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who shares our values and is passionate about supporting people to achieve great outcomes.

You will have:

  • SVQ Social Services & Healthcare Level 3 (or equivalent).
  • Experience within a person-centred social care or support environment.
  • Experience leading, mentoring or supervising others.
  • Knowledge of social care legislation, best practice and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A commitment to inclusion, dignity and respect for every individual.

Essential Requirement

A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.

Due to the nature of the service and the support we provide, candidates must be able to travel and support activities within the local community.
