Summary

Nursery Practitioner (Level 3)

£28,400 per year | Level 3 | Permanent | Good Ofsted

 

Our client’s nursery has been designed to give children the space and freedom to do just that. Bright, spacious rooms with free-flow access allow children to move naturally between indoor and outdoor learning, following their interests and developing their independence along the way.

 

Outside, there's plenty of room for adventure, with different areas to explore, play and discover. Whether children are getting active, investigating nature or creating their own games, the environment provides endless opportunities to turn everyday play into meaningful learning.

 

As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you'll help bring these experiences to life while providing the nurturing relationships, consistency and support every child needs to flourish.

 

What We're Looking For

  • Full and relevant

    Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).

  • Previous

    experience within a nursery or early years setting.

  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.

  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.

  • Confidence creating engaging, child-led learning opportunities.

  • Enthusiasm for outdoor learning and encouraging children's independence.

  • A caring, positive and proactive approach.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Your Role

  • Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework.

  • Create engaging activities based around children's interests and developmental needs.

  • Encourage children to make the most of the nursery's free-flow indoor and outdoor environments.

  • Support children's confidence, independence and curiosity through play and exploration.

  • Act as a Key Person, developing strong relationships with children and their families.

  • Observe children's progress and use their individual interests to plan appropriate next steps.

  • Support children's daily routines and individual care needs.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and stimulating nursery environment.

  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety at all times.
