Summary
Our client, a growing fire safety business, is looking for an experienced Fire Door Surveyor to join their team, covering sites across the Midlands.
The Role
• Carry out fire door surveys and inspections across residential and commercial properties
• Inspect fire doors, frames, seals, hinges, closers and associated hardware
• Identify defects and areas requiring remedial works
• Take accurate measurements and photographic evidence
• Complete detailed and accurate survey reports
• Ensure inspections are carried out in line with relevant fire safety standards and legislation
• Liaise with clients, contractors and site teams
• Travel to various sites across the Midlands
The Candidate
• Previous experience in fire door surveying, inspection, installation or a related fire safety role
• Good knowledge of fire doors and associated components
• Strong attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Professional and confident when dealing with clients
• Full UK driving licence
• Relevant fire door qualifications or certifications would be advantageous
