We’re looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and hands-on FLT Operative / Warehouse Operative to join our busy team in Thorne.
You’ll play a key role in keeping our operation moving – making sure production has the packaging it needs, finished products are
stored correctly, orders are picked and ready for despatch, and deliveries are loaded and unloaded safely.
As we work within food manufacturing, quality, food safety and attention to detail are at the heart of everything we do.

What will you be doing?
No two days are exactly the same! Your responsibilities will include:
* Making sure the boxing area has the packaging it needs for upcoming production runs and throughout the shift.
* Moving finished goods safely from the boxing area into chilled or frozen storage.
* Loading and unloading vehicles using an FLT when required.
* Checking incoming raw material deliveries and placing them into the correct storage locations.
* Accurately entering stock onto the stock control system.
* Rotating stock to ensure products are managed correctly.
* Completing daily stock counts.
* Picking and preparing customer orders for despatch.
* Carrying out daily FLT safety checks.
* Checking finished products to make sure damaged boxes are not sent to customers.
* Completing all required paperwork accurately and on time.
* Maintaining high GMP standards throughout your shift.
* Following a clean-as-you-go approach and keeping your working area safe and tidy.
* Carrying out cleaning tasks, including the safe use of cleaning chemicals.
* Following all site food safety and health & safety procedures, including HACCP, COSHH and PPE requirements.
* Working closely with your teammates to help production flow as smoothly as possible.
What are we looking for?
* A valid Counterbalance FLT Licence.
* Previous experience working within a warehouse environment.
* The ability to work comfortably in both hot and cold environments, including chilled and frozen storage areas.
* A reliable and punctual approach to work.
* Flexibility and a willingness to get stuck in and support the team.
