Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced
CNC Punch Press Operator to join a large, well-established sheet metal manufacturer based in the
Belliver area of Plymouth.

Key Duties
- Operate CNC punch press machines to produce high-quality sheet metal components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
- Set and adjust machine parameters as required.
- Carry out quality inspections to ensure components meet specification.
- Work to production targets in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
- Ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating CNC punch press machinery.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Comfortable working continental night shifts, including weekends.
Shift Pattern & Pay
- £21.38 per hour.
- Continental night shifts:
- Two-week rotating shift pattern, including weekends.
- Overtime opportunities available.
- Performance-related bonus scheme.
7pm-7am.
