Summary
Connect Appointments is recruiting a Mobile Plant Engineer to join an established plant machinery business based in Auchtermuchty.
Our client provides plant machinery maintenance, repair and hire services across Scotland, offering a brand new fully kitted service van and a varied field-based role for a fully qualified plant engineer.
What's on offer?
- Full-time permanent position
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
- Overtime and weekend work available
- £17 to £19 per hour - dependent on experience
- Brand new fully kitted service van provided
As a Mobile Plant Engineer, your duties will include:
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing plant machinery including excavators, dumpers, rollers, telehandlers, ATVs and small plant
- Diagnosing faults using Jaltest and Texa diagnostic equipment
- Working across 12v and 24v electrical systems
- Delivering a high standard of customer service at client sites across Scotland
- Maintaining accurate service records and documentation
To be considered as a Mobile Plant Engineer, you will need:
- Time-served plant or agricultural engineering background with an SVQ/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is essential
- A minimum of 5 years' experience working on plant and equipment
- Experience with Jaltest or Texa diagnostic equipment
- A full UK driving licence and your own tools is essential
- Welding and fabrication experience is advantageous
