We're currently looking for an experienced CNC Miller to join a busy precision engineering team based in Dartford.
Key Responsibilities:
Setting, operating and programming 3-axis & 5-axis CNC milling machines
Manufacturing precision-engineered components to tight tolerances
Interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
Selecting tooling and optimising machining processes
Carrying out first-off, in-process and final inspections
Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience setting, operating and programming CNC milling machines
Experience with 3-axis & 5-axis machining centres
Heidenhain control experience preferred
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T
Experience machining precision components to tight tolerances
Proficient in using a variety of measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers, bore gauges, height gauges and DTIs
Good knowledge of cutting tools, tooling applications and machining strategies
Positive attitude and strong attention to detail
Organised, punctual, reliable and safety-conscious
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
