The Role
As a
Class 1 HGV Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Completing depot-to-depot trunking deliveries safely and efficiently
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Following transport plans and delivery schedules
- Driving in compliance with UK transport legislation, Driver Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive requirements
- Completing delivery and transport documentation accurately
- Communicating effectively with the transport team
- Maintaining high standards of professionalism and road safety
- Minimal or no handball involved
Requirements
To be considered for this
HGV Class 1 Driver role in Worksop, you must have:
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 2 years' Class 1 driving experience
- Good communication and time management skills
- Professional, reliable and safety-focused approach
- Good understanding of UK road transport legislation
