Job Summary

We are currently recruiting a

Warehouse Operative

to support a busy print factory in Uckfield. This is a hands-on role suited to someone reliable, organised, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment. You will play a key part in ensuring smooth goods‑in, stock control, and internal logistics between the warehouse and production areas.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Receiving, checking, and booking in stock including paper, inks, and consumables

Managing goods‑in and dispatch operations

Maintaining accurate stock records through daily physical counts

Strapping completed work and organising daily movement between factories

Producing a simple daily stock report, including:

Completed stock counts

Internal stock transfers (warehouse machines)

Daily (or twice‑daily, volume‑dependent) house sheet and paper stock checks

Liaising with production teams to prioritise work and resolve shortages

Replenishing stock to ensure uninterrupted workflow

(Please note: duties may vary depending on operational requirements.)

Health & Safety:

Adhere strictly to all Health & Safety policies and procedures

Remain vigilant, alert, and aware of surrounding risks at all times

Preferable for this position but not essential:

Access to own vehicle

Requirements:

Right to work in the UK.

Previous experience in a similar role

Good attention to detail and teamwork skills
